At the link you provided there is a brief statement and a link to a video. The statement that you can buy machine guns at gun shows without ID is not repeated. ABC quotes and presents the claims made as if they are true. Two entirely different presentations --though admittedly made somewhat less so by linking to that execrable anti-gun rag the UK Mail. Furthermore, sharing agendas and being on the same payroll are two different things. I don't see anyone here saying ABC is on the Obama "payroll.loadedliberal wrote:So I guess Glenn Beck and The Blaze are on Obama payroll as well seeing as how they reported the story and didn't correct the terrorist misinformationMcKnife wrote:Yes.Could this ad be an example of Obama's working "under the radar" on gun control?

Come on that is pure bull suggesting he has the media in his pocket like that, are they more friendly to him, maybe. But it seems people have really short memories. Do I need to remind everyone the media hysteria leading up to the Iraq invasion, everyone in the media was biting hook, line and sinker the "WMD threat" but I guess these same news organizations were in the pocket of Bush as well.
Your Obama love is distorting your perception of the media if you don't believe ABC is deliberately promoting an anti-gun agenda. The major media have been overtly anti-gun for as long as I can remember and rarely anymore blatantly than ABC is here. And while I have the same problem with this kind of misinformation regardless of the source, it does more damage on the ABC site than on the Beck site simply because fewer readers and viewers seeing this at ABC are going to know that the claims are false, and because, deservedly or not, ABC has more credibility among the general population than Glenn Beck --especially among liberals, as your own reaction demonstrates.
