Where are the mods

I assume the mods are working on the board attack! I can't believe someone would do this!

Refresh - they already handled it. Pretty offensive stuff. . . shocking . . . glad we can get back to normal. Unfortunately, an IP ban of the offender won't do much, as he can probably recycle his IP through his ISP and end up doing it again several times, and even leave those IPs he's no longer using banned, so if a legitimate user gets assigned one, they won't be able to access the forum.

I can guess who it was, but hopefully they'll grow up and find something productive to do.

Unless he was using an offshore anonymous proxy, he only thinks he can't be found. His IP resolves to an ISP, and they know exactly who had it leased at any given time.

And ... it isn't "impossible" to trace the route back through the proxy servers either ;-)

He was banned as LOLWUT and Apophis and he's mad. His MySpace page was found within a couple of hours and a copy of the incriminating evidence was saved in case he takes the page down.
