What on earth is wrong with people?

Getting ready to pull left into a spot at HEB. Indicate with my blinker and the lady, using that term lightly, to my right has finished loading her groceries. She steps out in front of me pushing her cart. Whatever, I was going slow enough. She pushes the cart right into the spot I'm waiting to go to. The cart corrals are like 4 spaces away.
I beep my horn at her and gesture (palm up, what the heck? gesture). She looks at me and walks off. Seriously? I pick another spot and grab the cart. Loudly I holler at her "let me get that cart for you..."
"Shut up" she says to me. Every ounce of restraint in my body not to give her an example of what "cuss like a sailor" means......
I mean

Oh, I thought you got the memo when Obama went into office...

Everyone's entitled to do whatever the heck they want, and not clean up after themselves, after all, thats what we pay taxes for, so other people can walk behind each and every one of us with a broom and dustpan cleaning up behind us. Why should anyone choose to be responsible anymore, that takes work and integrity, which, are TOTALLY overrated. Why work for a living when you can live off the system for free, using your food stamps while you drive your escalade to the grocery story, trying to get rich quick for no work!

I was really tempted to do that, too. My kids were with me. Again...lots of restraint not to give her the verbal what for.

Ha ha ha... This is one of my wifes BIGGEST peeves! She says it is just PURE LAZINESS!

BUT... the other day I was at Lowes and a big blue metal cart that ppl use to haul out heavy stuff was sitting against my headlight... As I walked up I was like really?!? Ya couldn't have put it away and then saw it wasn't just sitting against my light it BROKE my light. I went into the store and told the manager... I'm still waiting to hear back from "corporate" Uh, huh... I think I got a bit of a fight on my hands. :nono:

I was at Lowes one day. I had selected a few items and put them in my shopping cart. I turned around after looking at another item. A woman had taken my stuff out of my cart and was pushing it away. I said “hey, that was my cart”. She just turned her nose up and pushed faster.

Its every man or woman for themselves it seems like. There is truly no more "community". The attitude of society is full of "thats not my job". Technology has made people very lazy imo. Want it now? Get it now! at http://www.getitnow.whatever" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Want your pay before you do the work? Get a payday loan now! Dont want to return the cart? The next person wil get it. I'll admit I have done that a couple of times when the lot was full and the cart return was a good walk in the heat. Its been awhile tho. But its not Pres. Obama's fault LOL!

I'm going to Monday morning QB this situation.
You should've positioned your vehicle behind hers and made her wait an additional few minutes. Thats what I would've done.

Get out
walk over to her cart
slowly walk it to the cart return
Amble back to your car.
Maybe check the air pressure.
