You should've positioned your vehicle behind hers and made her wait an additional few minutes. Thats what I would've done.
:tiphat:
LOL me too.
Pull up behind her car, stop.
Get out
walk over to her cart
slowly walk it to the cart return
Amble back to your car.
Maybe check the air pressure.
pull into your space

My kids are grown.
But I agree, it would probably scare the kids.

I mean really what the heck is wrong with people?
Apparently, there has been a nation wide epidemic running amok that retards the mental maturation process of both males and females. While their bodies continue to grow and mature, their brains cease to develop beyond the prepubescent / puberty stage, so while you may think the middle aged individual you see acting like a 12 year old should know better, they don't, because what you are ACTUALLY seeing is a 12 year old trapped in the body of a middle aged individual.

Often times, the infected are easy to spot due to the completely inappropriate clothes/jewelry they wear, however, sometimes you won't be able to identify them until they either speak, or display one of the many obvious behavior traits.

Why the government has failed to make this epidemic public knowledge is beyond me, unless THEY are behind it! When you look at the facts, this epidemic seems to have started during the 60's, and has been slowly spreading ever since. Now, it seems that at LEAST 50% of the population is infected, with some areas having concentrated infection levels as high as 90%!

Bottom line: When you spot these individuals in public, AVOID them so as not to be infected, and don't get mad, for they know NOT what they do.

When I worked for WalMart years ago I caught my own mom leaving carts in the lot instead of putting them in the bays "rlol" I said "Mom... you know I'm the guy that has to clear the lot, right?". I think it embarrassed her

And if everybody put the cart away, how many people would be unemployed? :biggrinjester:

This reminds me of when I was at Texas Tech, one of my professors was talking about when he was a student they did a study where they shopped out of other peoples carts at walmart, they returned the items when the people noticed and explained the study to them. It was interesting because the basis of the study was social expectations, and that the items in your cart don't actually belong to you, but its expected that once its in your cart no one else can take it.

I beep my horn at her and gesture (palm up, what the heck? gesture). She looks at me and walks off. Seriously? I pick another spot and grab the cart. Loudly I holler at her "let me get that cart for you..."
"Shut up" she says to me. Every ounce of restraint in my body not to give her an example of what "cuss like a sailor" means......

Par for the course here in the Valley. Just be glad the spot you pulled into didn't have a used diaper in the middle of it and an unknown viscous fluid on the passenger's side.

Some of us have no choice. HEB has been the only game in town for years.

Albertson's moved in about 15 years ago, and I actually preferred it. However, the prices were (IIRC) 10-30% higer than HEB, and somewhere along the line the company "reorganized" and ours was one of the ones to go.

The other grocery stores in the area? WalMart, but ours is so horrible we HATE going there. prices about the same.
Target- pricier, and no meat dept.
The local ones- dirty, nasty, and not a great selection.

I was really tempted to do that, too. My kids were with me. Again...lots of restraint not to give her the verbal what for.
I would have. /shrug

Not sure why you seem shocked lol - we see it every day - ladies men kids young old and everything in between.

I had a little old lady cut me off, flip me off, and proceed to talk all kinds of smack to me - and I am not the most friendly looking individual. Lucky for her I have a deep respect of my elders (good parents and grandparents I suppose) so I just shrugged it off. kept telling myself - my abuela said to respect my elders.... even if they are wrong.
