This is what the statists want. Complete control of all guns and ammunition. The next step is confiscation of weapons, and then freedom is gone.

The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. James Madison

Is anybody really surprised by this. The liberals can say what they want but the majoity of them want a ban on firearms. I do not understand how a pro-gun liberal can remain and vote for those who want to limit our second amendment rights through state sponsored legislation.

I'm glad I got out when I did, five years ago.

Only in Kalifornia, my friend. Then it will finally be like Chicago, where the only two groups that have guns are crooks and politicians. And calling them "two groups" really stretches the definitionbaldeagle wrote:http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Read. ... um=twitter

I think Lex Luther had the right idea of how to handle California.

Yeah... I was thinking about moving back there... I really don't think I could handle the crazy.

Perhaps they could be good enough to wait to fall off our continent until my brother (who is trying to get out of there with all his might) can move elsewhere. Like Illinios Kalifornia is basically controlled by a few very liberal cities. You get more in the middle of it and out into the towns and you get more rational people. If it fell off into the pacific I would mourn only the loss of the redwood trees (because they are beautiful!).

Re: California falling off the deep end
I saw an article somewhere the other day, perhaps it was linked on Drudge, that talked about a new separatist movement in California. There is a group that wants to section off and call itself "South California," composed of San Bernardino, Kerr, Inyo, and Mono counties. It ain't going to go anywhere, since Los Angeles gets most of its water from the Owens valley (Kerr, Inyo, Mono counties), but it is funny that a huge chunk of the state where people live far closer to the land and the seasons have decided that they don't want to be regulated by the insanity in Sacto anymore.

Re: California falling off the deep end
Yeah, I saw that too. I don't think they're taking it far enough, though. Cali needs to be three states... If they split off the LA Basin and the SF Bay Area, those cities could be the liberal paradises, and the rest of the state could get its sanity back. The Annoyed Man wrote:I saw an article somewhere the other day, perhaps it was linked on Drudge, that talked about a new separatist movement in California. Calling them two groups is more than stretching the definition, that is totally destroying the definition. They are one and the same.lkd wrote:Only in Kalifornia, my friend.
