unsuspecting border crossers turned into drug mules

Post by karder »

Here is a crazy story about smugglers planting drugs in the cars of unsuspecting border crossers in El Paso. It is a complicated, but ingenious plan. Something to thing to be aware of if you cross into Mexico. Here is a link.

There's nothing I need badly enough to go to Mexico to get it.

I would love to go to Mexico--but there is NO WAY in the current climate I want to be anywhere near it. I was about 120 miles from the border on my last trip to TX and that was too close for comfort for me!

That is what I've told my friends and family when talking about Mexican vacations such as cruises...no way, no how.

Totally agree - I understand Mexico has some terrific beauty, both above and below the water (think diving), for tourists. But there is just too much not to like (crime) about Mexico for me to even consider going there. Never been there, and the way things are looking, not likely to ever go there.

FBI agents arrested Gomez last Thursday. Carlos Gonzalez is still on the run.
If you know anything about Gomez's whereabouts, call police.
The FBI lost Gomez already?

Good catch. I missed that. No worries, I just called the police and told them the FBI has Gomez. :smilelol5:
