Prayers For Survivors of Firefighter Who Fell At MLB Game

I would like to ask that anyone who feels moved would take a moment of prayer for the friends and family of Brownwood firefighter Shannon Stone, 39, who died after falling from the stands while attending a Texas Rangers baseball game Thursday night. His young son was with him and witnessed the accident.

I grew up in the Brownwood area. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Oh Lord, please comfort those that grieve today for the loss of this man. Shield their loved ones as they come to terms with this loss, especially his son. Prayers also go out to the Rangers player that threw the ball to the fan.
