Who's using Evernote and what for?
Been working with Evernote, iAnnotate, save2pdf, and dropbox (on iPad) to put together a solution for saving notes and pages for class. Also using EN for finances to keep track of receipts and previous years tax returns.
How are you guys using EN and what for?

I do not use "Evernote."
I only recently found out that "notes" on the iPhone is rated very poorly. The article said one of the biggest reasons was because of the font. I didn't like it either, so I changed it.

I used Evernote to "store" websites that I run across that I want to research at a later date. It helps me to stay focused on the original search for something without being distracted by pages I happen to run across. I also use it to keep track of books that I want to read. I do also use Dropbox, particularly for files that I want to be able to access anywhere, anytime and files that williamkevin and I share.
But for some reason, maybe my age (haha) I can't totally get away from paper and pen.

I do the same thing -- I even include photos of the guns that show the serial number. Quite handy.terryg wrote:I use it for lots of stuff. To make with gun related ...

Unrelated: I use Evernote for my book writing notes sometimes.

I like its photo note taking ability.
I use it for varied things, but some unique ways that I find it handy is
1) Taking a photo of a wine label at a restaurant after finding a good wine... quick and easy way to note a good wine
2) Price shopping, I take pics of price tags at stores. I have used these tag pics at other stores to get better prices.
I have a section called "numbers"
I keep everything from clothing sizes (I never remember what size I wear for different things and they can also vary by brand), to room sizes in the house, to gate codes, license plates, etc.

I used Evernote for my last AR build. It was a great way to keep all the webpages for the various parts I needed organized. It also helped in parts price comparisons.

Another handy app is called MindNode: http://www.mindnode.com/store/. It's a nifty way to make a visual representation of how something might be organized. I've attached a screen snapshot of a MindNode file sent to me by a client who is a licensed counselor, mapping out his idea of how he thought his website might be organized. Anyway, it is very easy to use, and there are mobile versions of it for smartphones and iPads.
