Kansas Version of 30.06 Sign

Post by Crossfire »

Kansas had to write 3 pages of legalese to explain that an 8 inch ghostbuster's sign is their "official" method of banning concealed carry.

Here ya go: http://www.ksag.org/Concealed_Weapon/CC ... _Signs.pdf

By the way, this is the link from the OFFICIAL Kansas Attorney General's website. Really... I promise.

I wonder if you have to reproduce the compression artifacts around the edges of the "ghostbuster" sign! :ack:

It bugs me that they never seem to specify something like, "it must be visible from every entrance, and must be placed between 3 feet and 6 feet from the ground" to make it plain what they want, instead, they just say, "reasonably likely to come to the attention..."

"Oh, the 8x8 sign on the lower left hand corner of the door right next to the no smokign sign should have been reasonably visible..."

And just why do all those signs depict a Beretta? Must have it out for the poor pistol, I tell ya!!! Why not a beefy 1911? How about a chunky Glock or maybe a sleek PPK? But nooooooo, they've gotta hammer the Bereta 92 series!!

Ahhh, much better.

Yep, if you're packing a 92 and see that sign, you've got to wait outside.

I was wondering the same. At least their Beretta looks better than one site I used to work; I was tempted several times to go out there with a Sharpie and correct the grip silhouette.

I was going to criticize their use of the non-radiused backstrap and straight dustcover but then I realized it's a 475th edition M9!!. They really should fix that lanyard loop though. It looks just like my sons airsoft pistol. Maybe they should specify if it's for real guns or airsoft?
