My anniversary present

Post by 74novaman »

was not getting shot by my wife for buying this ;-) :

It's another 74 Chevy Nova unibody, so when its put together its supposed to look something like the one in my avatar, or like this:

Now my only dilemma is what to do with it. I'm either going to swap this body onto my current frame, or scrounge up a 4 door parts car to cannibalize and make a second car out of this body.

Both kind of appeal. If I want one REALLY nice car, this new body has about the same rust as my old one, but in easier to fix places, and doesn't have hail damage like the old body does.

If I want to build up 2 cars, I'll just paint the light blue car flat black, not do any body work on it and make it my street/strip drag car. No power anything, stiff suspension, no a/c, monster, ear drum destroying motor, etc. If I have a nice fast drag car, I won't feel bad about making the other one into a cruiser. Comfy seats, maybe a mild small block like a 383, I'd even go with an auto and a/c and make it a daily driver. :coolgleamA:

Anyway, I was just excited about the new car. And yes, she got flowers, a date, dinner, bottle of wine etc.

Is it your and your wife's anniversary today? If so, good choice on a wedding date!

And uh I hate to tell you this but uhm...you're missing something on the car... ;-)

We celebrated our anniversary yesterday as well. Now I'm wondering if we share the same year, too...

Fortunately I know that you aren't my wife because

A) You're a dude

B) My wife hates everything GM (her family is multigeneration Ford)

It was a 1 year anniversary. Last year we got married on the beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. :cheers2:

Our 23rd anniversary is in 4 days.
