DC Gun Ban - nanas

Post by PappaGun »

This just seems political.

The DC gun ban has created some legal run arounds that you would never see any where else.

Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the city’s handgun ban in 2008, residents have been allowed to buy guns in other jurisdictions to keep in their D.C. homes, but it’s against the law for them to bring guns in themselves.
When/where did the city get the constitutional power to regulate that?

Get a rope.

Maybe Eric Holder can get the Fast 'n Furious program to run some guns in there for them.....

Maybe he already is. That could explain why the criminals have no trouble getting guns in DC, but the law abiding are Sure Out of Luck.

Only 1200 people have sought to keep their guns legally.

What percentage of total guns do you think that is?

Years ago when I was mustering out, I was in DC. I was visiting a girl and we went to her brother's house. He was really proud of his new .38 and we went into the vacant lot to fire it, yes, in downtown DC. He said no one would notice and no one did. No sirens, no knocks on the door or anything.
