Good GLOCK 22 conceilment holster

Post by Drjfiremedic »

Hey,

Been carrying my Glock model 22 40 cal. for about two years now. I have a Galco leather holster that I use during the fall/winter as it is easier to conceil then, with jackets and whatnot.

I have zero interest in carrying a smaller gun, as I am 6'6" 300lbs and the compacts and subcompacts feel like childs toys in my hands.

Who else carries larger glock models or M&P 40's that demand a little more real estate to conceil?

I am looking for better holstering options for my Glock that works with summer clothing. Right now I find that alot of the time, my weapon has to remain in the car which I absolutly do not like.

Any brands you guys know of, let me know!!

Comp Tac MTAC Minotaur
Crossbreed Supertuck

or other similar inside-the-waistband tuckable designs.

I carry full size Glock 17 and an M&P45 in these types of holsters.

Ditto on the hybrid styles such as crossbreed, etc. Depending on what you define as summer wear, it works great! I wear cargo shorts by wrangler and docker about 90% of the time in summer, i'm 5'7, 170, and can easily conceal a G26/19/30. I dont "dress around my weapon." The hybrids hug you close enough regular T shirts cover just fine.

That said, when I am jogging or running and wearing athletic shorts I throw on the smartcarry and G26. Again, works just fine.

PS, if you decide a hybrid holster such as Crossbreed's is what you need, but you find that 70 bucks and a month wait isnt right, check out the classifieds section under holsters\accessories and there is a guy here in TX who makes them for something like $40 shipped.

Crossbreed Supertuck IWB with my Glock 22 works fantastic. Conceals just as easy as the smaller Glock 27 imo.

I just bought the supertuck for a G30 in horsehide. Im only 6'1 and 190lbs and I can hide a 1911 in a supertuck no prob. I think you will be good with the 22.
