Honest guy, at least he did not lie!

Post by Beiruty »

HOUSTON -- An 81-year-old Houston man is accused of killing his wife and leaving her body in bed for a couple of days until police stopped to check on the woman.

I think he killed his wife intentionally, but is it assisted suicide?

It sounds like mental illness or senility.

If someone thinks that assisted suicide or euthanasia is acceptable, there are less messy ways to accomplish it and have a good chance of getting away with it. Otherwise make it a twofer, because there's nothing to lose at that point.

BTW, unfortunately, this type of incident adds to the argument about licensing and mental health exams to own a weapon. Some states are already at that point.

It seems he is accused of shooting his wife intentionally after they argued, not mercy killing or anything like that.
