Need some suggestions

Post by pbwalker »

I have a 48" square deer blind blind. It was framed on top of the platform for the nylon fabric. Needless to say, the fabric didn't survive, so I've got the frame and platform. This is where I'm not sure where to go next.

I can't find a 48" square popup blind to put on it, so that's out of the question (unless someone knows where they may be).

So...what options do I have? Maybe some plywood and 2x4's? Anything easier (and cheap)?

Thanks!

Draw what you want fir a pattern with measurements. Go to wal- mart sporting goods and get you a tarp. Get some velcro and spray adhesive from hardware. Go home and cut and stick.

I built 48" square box blind framed with wood and covered with these coroplast sheets. Basically they look like thick cardboard but are made out of plastic. Its been 3 or 4 years and the wind has knocked over the stand more than a few times, but those sheets are still on there, not torn, ripped or faded. If you are thinking about windows, they also have clear plastic/acrylic sheets that can be drilled for hinges or used as sliders.
