Vacation Timing????

I am not a fan of Obama, but doesn't the kind of things depicted in the pics apply to any President that decides to make a visit anywhere that the general population frequents?

It is not Elitism, it happens with any President.

However, the Obamas do seem to take more vacations than any of their predecessors.

I'm calling bull on that one - NBC had a comparison of all of the 20th century presidents and their vacations... Obama was nowhere near the top, unlike (ahem) the Republican presidents of the last twenty years.

Partisan politics aside: which one of you would do that job and not occasionally want to take the wife and kiddies out for a week?
