A High School Football fan must...

[DONT TREAD ON ME]

If any of you have ever played, coached, or is a fan of High School football I highly recommend getting the DVD "Boys of Fall".

Football was always a big part of my life. My grandfather played and coached HS football for many years. He is still called coach and he has been retired since '94. He had 4 sons all who played football. All who taught me the game. I remember going to the field by his house and all of us throwing the ball or getting a pick up game going. Always a lesson to be taught...catch it with your fingers, hold it at the back of the laces, lead your reciever, etc. Then once I got into HS and played they continued to coach me. It was one of the best times of my life and I still look back on it today.

I talk about the games that were won and lost to my wife sometimes and explain the rush and excitement that came with it. Making that big touchdown catch/run, getting that interception and as you turn to run you see the crowd jump to their feet and scream, that final game on your home field, that final game period.

Last Christmas she bought and sent me the "Boys of Fall" DVD. I had never heard of it. I put it in and it all came back. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the sad. The "Boys of Fall" really captures the magic of those Friday nights and the emotions that came every Friday night from Aug-Nov for four years.

It is truly a must see/own for any HS football player, coach, and fan!!!
