Without naming names... ;-)

Since there's no such thing as 'Liscensed Posession" in the State of Texas, the sign is meaningless. In other words, it says "Carrying a weapon without a liscense to do so is illegal.' Duh!!!

Both TABC Sections say; "unless
the weapon is a concealed handgun of the same category the person is
licensed to carry"

The purpose of the sign is to provide notice the unlicensed carry, which is normally a class A misd, is a felony on that property.

OldGringo: Can't recognize sarcasm when you "read it". ;-)
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... (Jefferson quoting Beccaria)

... tyrants accomplish their purposes ...by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. - Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, 1840

RJ
1. It's the wrong sign for a 51% business.

2. It's the right sign for a store like Costco that sells beer and wine for off premise consumption. More importantly, TABC requires them to post "the blue sign" if they want to avoid fines, losing their license, etc.
When in doubt
Vote them out!
