Great story and good for him.

What really makes me mad is the reporter. Everyone including the Police said he did a great job. Then at the end of the report the reporter says "and SO FAR the homeowner isn't facing any charges at all".

I guess the reporter is going to be real sad then...since its Florida, I highly doubt the homeowner will face any charges.

I like the "semi-automatic handguns" comment. Makes feel good knowing they weren't using early Colt single action revolvers...

let them in was a mistake, but great reaction and easy access to the home defense weapon saved the day.
