SOLD: Springfield Loaded 1911

Post by A-R »

SOLD

Springfield Loaded 1911-A1 full size 5-inch barrel parkerized finish with real wood diamond-pattern checkered grips. This is a "Loaded" model, which includes extended beavertail grip safety, extended thumb safety, and other upgrades from the base model "GI" or "Mil Spec" versions. It is an older model with left-side-only thumb safety and staked front sight.

I've put about 200 flawless rounds through this gun. Previous owner claimed to have put only 100 through it (and it does not look overly used). Selling it because I picked up another 1911 I like better and don't need both.

Comes with two magazines, manual, cleaning rod, and original box.

$625 cash FTF in Austin area.

Will consider meeting a reasonable halfway distance, but won't drive to Houston or Dallas to sell this unless I'm going there already for some other reason.

No, the first rule of gun safety is to always treat every gun as if it's loaded.

I've done business with A-R - he's a stand up guy. Somebody buy this quick before I start another project.

This 1911 has a good new home with a friendly, young Army lieutenant ... included a good chat about Texas CHL, current situation in Iraq, etc. Came away impressed as always with another of our brave young warriors. Glad this gun has a wonderful new owner.
