Do you really think he has read the Constitution? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

If the State converts a right into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right with impunity. -- Shuttleworth v. City of Birmingham

That's misleading because he IS allowing clergy. He's allowing them under the same conditions he's allowing nurses and teachers and accountants and auto mechanics.

They could have easily both been included in the service without any controversy what-so-ever. This was a memorial service so clergy were most assuredly appropriate, and first responders should have been invited as they died there too saving people's lives. It could have been quite simple, have one Jewish rabbi, one Catholic priest, an Islamic Imam, a protestant minister, and you have covered 99% of American religion. On the first responders, invite each NYC prescint to send a representative. Don't tell me that Bloomie boy is too stupid to have thought of that. No, he wanted to make that day about his will and to force his agenda. He wanted to make that day about himself and that I find repugnant. There was no need for controversy but he started one anyway.

...I saw the interview with my own peepers and HE said he had excluded them and why...from his own lips...not a news report...it's not misleading at all...he's not letting them participate and the day before he interviewed and told at length why not...said there wasn't room and they could have their ceremonies elsewhere among other things...

Standard practice for politicians of both parties is to wrap themselves in the constitution when it suits their purpose and to use it for toilet tissue when it gets in the way of what they want to do. And, it is our fault for electing these people in the first place or for so losing control of party machinery that folks like that are the only ones on the ballot.

Do you believe everything Michael Bloomberg says? ... ... ... ... ... ...

I know for a fact that there was at least one who wasn't excluded and got to participate the same as other family.
