Well, in hard-times America, the current First Lady showed up at a DNC fundraiser (the one for millionaires at $35,000 a plate) wearing jewelry including a Lotus cuff priced at $15,000 with 2.9 carats of diamonds, her Gothic cuff at $15,350 with 2.17 carats in diamonds, and the Quatrefoil bracelet at $11,800 with 1.73 carats in diamonds. Total value -- $42,150.

Were any tax dollars spent to buy the jewelry? If not, and the First Wookie already owned the jewelry, who cares? Or maybe I should ask who cares except those with a personal grudge or some other agenda?

She and her husband were in the 95th percentile for income before he was POTUS. Maybe 98th percentile. Either way they were rich, according to BHO's tax rhetoric. Anyway, all that jewelry cost less than the admission price for one couple. Anyone who could afford to attend probably owns much more expensive baubles.
