Never been, but Burnet/Marble Falls/Bertram/Oatmeal/Lampasas etc "festivals"

Festivals aren't generally posted but I assume if they were, they'd have a "blue sign" since like a restaurant you have artists, food, and entertainment and "REVENUE is from booth/table rentals and ticket sales rather than alcohol sales. And, we can carry past "blue signs" if licensed.

Also, if held on city property,(as many outdoor/indoor festivals are) and .... can't generally post a 30.06 either.

But I can't say specifically about the Dripping Springs one.

So, the question is the location; whether it is posted or not >>>> CREEKSIDE is a family-owned business http://www.austincreekside.com/facility.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I imagine their revenue is from renting the facility, so doubt there'd be any 51% sign ...

I'd carry, and if I saw a 30.06 sign, take the gun to the car. Probably isn't one, unless you ask them and they think ... "good idea" and decide to put one up.

turns out it had a (red) 51% sign. It was clearly more of a 'wine' tasting than a food one.

It turns out it was posted 51%. There was very little food offered for sale; the focus was on wine, so I'm not surprised.

Thanks, I've not gone, and you saved me a future trip. I might attend some food tasting festivals, but Gun shows, holiday street festivals, lake festivals, Llano's gold panning thing etc are more my style.
