- Would be willing to trade for Ruger LCR in 357 mag (not 38spl).
- $450 cash FTF (West Houston area), otherwise you pay the FFL and shipping.
- Payment via us postal money order
- You should be able to produce ID to me indicating you can legally own a firearm in Texas (ex. CHL).

This is the blued version with the acessory rail, ambidexterous thumb safety, chckered front/back straps, and Heinie-8 sights. Purchased in the middle of 2009.

The pistol shoots and operates fine, I just find that I don't use it any more so it's taking up valuable space in my safe. The following parts have been replaced/updated by me:

- RAASCO carcoal silvertone Dynmondwood grips
- Wilson Combat replacement pin set inlcuding mainspring plunger, sear pin, ejector roll pin, mainspring housing pin, link pin, mainspring housing retainer, strut pin, mainspring plunger retainer, hammer pin, slide release plunger, and thumb safety plunger.
- Wolf 18-1/2 lb recoil spring.
- Ed Brown national match trigger
- Wilson Combat standard length slide stop
- Cylinder and slide drop-in trigger pull kit. Includes hammer, sear, disconnector, mainspring, and hammer spring.

I have less than 600 rounds through it, and at least 200 of those rounds are after my modifications, so I am confident that it's as good or better a shooter than it was originally. It has been cleaned and gun safe stored after every range trip. This is not my carry gun, so any coating wear is just on the slide rails or other similar areas. I have detailed stripped it and cleaned all the Taurus goop out of all the internals as well.

I have all the papers, two mags, original case, and most of the original parts I replaced (I may have tossed some like the recoil spring).

Wow...steak of a deal (IMHO). I have the same gun and love it. It's not my EDC but one of five 1911's that I own. And frankly, it's a better firearm than my Colt CC Model 80 and I would rate it only a samll step beneath my CDP II (primarily because of the match barrel and a couple of Kimber Shop mods on the CDP). If you were in the DFW area I would be hard pressed, at this price, not to add it to the safe!

Great weapon and a very good price.

Simple for me to box it up and ship it to ya via FFL!

Funny thing: I've got a CDPII (Pro) as well. It was my first pistol and is my CCW. The Taurus is a typical 1911 style firearm. It was what I learned to detail strip and upgrade with, so it's a much better rig than when I first bought it. I've managed to hit steel silhouettes at 100 m with it after a lot of practice. The heinie-8 sights are great.
Cheers!
