I'm just going down the AR rabbit hole, so I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. I've got to play with it for a while and see what I really 'need.' Who knows, this may wind up being a knock-around truck gun and I'll need the weight and solidity and stability of the LaRue or RRA offerings.

As it is, the way my wife eyes this rifle when it's out tells me that buying another one is not too far down the road. :grumble

That is a good thing then. You can have two :cheers2:

Latest gun that is only technically a gun in the eye of the feds.

Grabbed one of the 49.95 lowers from PSA's labor day sale and it came in today!

Opted for traditional safe/fire lettering instead of bullet pictograms

Goal is to build this into something like this gun:

Dissipator build, 16 inch 1:7 barrel, middy gas system hidden under rifle length handguards, Rifle length iron sights, and magpul MOE collapsible stock and pistol grip.

You planning on building or buying? I like that look too and found this at AIM Surplus. I ordered the MOE LPK's and just picked up a couple of Spike's lowers, not 100% what kinda upper I wanna build though.

I saw the same deal, but they are sold out for now. That is a good price from a great company.

Buying. PSA has the exact upper I want for 450 right now. Just need some fun money to Pile up before I get an upper.

DSA FAL SA58 18" barrel / HiLux CMR 1-4x24 scope on GG&G mount/ Falcon Arms trigger + Ergo Grip. Almost 1000 rounds, and nadda hiccup, running about 1.75 MOA on average depending on me and the ammo!

Cheers!

Edited the post above, but here are the specs:

Shotgun - Benelli M1 / Modified to "ghost load", holds 7+2
Rifle - M&P lower / Yankee Hill upper with 18" 1/8 twist stainless barrel, Viking Tactical/JP 13" forearm, JP brake.
Optics - Vortex Viper PST 1x4 on Larue mount.

Took me a couple of years to build/purchase what I wanted for 3-Gun, but I'm happy now..... :coolgleamA:
