Just took the class...

Post by BoneDigger »

I took the class yesterday and passed without any issues. I am waiting for my certificate and passport photos, then the long wait is on...

I am new to the site, but I have been lurking for a while and reading a lot of good information.

I'm looking forward to learning more in the next few months while I wait for the license.

Hey Bone,

Welcome to the board, pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable, you'll get to talk to a lot of nice and friendly people that are full of information.

The one advice that I can give you is have "patience" and lots of it, I just went through all that pain and agony for 68 days, but fortunately I just received plastic yesterday and is all over now, at least until my renewal time

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the forum. And congrats on taking and passing the class.

Use the time to find a method of carry that works best for you and use it around the house as much as possible to get used to carrying.

Well...

Post by BoneDigger »

Well, a month later and I finally put the paperwork in the mail to DPS. I was advised that since my birthday is April 1, if I get accepted after my birthday, it will give me basically an extra year on the license. So, I waited, and waited, and waited... Now it's in the mail to DPS. The real waiting begins...
