Who would you like to meet?
Here's a poll to see how many would like to hang out with someone for awhile......

Re: Who would you like to meet?
I was thinking about voting for Obama (in this poll) just to mess with y'all, but I'll refrain
Chuck Norris just seems like an awesome-all-around kind of guy.
Otherwise I don't really care for celebrities. I'd spend my time with a real person than a crowd pleaser.

I picked Glen. He's a bit nutso sometimes, but I think he's a hoot. And he's close by here in Southlake.

I'd like to meet Richard Fuld, past CEO of Lehman Bros. Holding, who took LBH into bankruptcy in 2008 thereby stealing a significant portion of our retirement life savings.
Boy, what I wouldn't tell him! Heck! I may even have to shoot him a time or two. That'd be okay wouldn't it?

Plato or Otto Lilienthal would be my first choices. The Wright Brothers would do if the first two are not available.

Re: Who would you like to meet?
I went with Ted Nugent.
I've worked in entertainment for 25+ years and pretty much detest celebrities but Ted seems like he would be a good down to earth kick in the pants.
I would love to go hunting, shooting or just hang out for dinner.
I'm also a fairly decent drummer and would love to jam with him.

Patrick Sweeney, he's a gun writer and former gunsmith...titles to his credit are the "Book of the AR" series and "Book of the 1911" series...and he seems pretty amusing, at least from how he writes.

I'd love to meet Uncle Ted, if only to talk to him about his problem of having all those Glocks!

Re: Who would you like to meet?
Well, Jesus goes without saying....but I already know Him, and I've already got an appointment to meet Him some day. Pending that, Samuel Clemens, Will Rogers, James Thurber, and William Shakespeare would all likely make for lively conversation. Ted Nugent, because he's......well....Uncle Ted.
I could go my entire life without ever meeting Barak Obama and be better off for it. I would like to have dinner some day with George W. and Laura Bush. I don't agree with everything he did, but I think he is a good and humble man who would be able to share the human interest side of what it is like to be a President and live in the bubble of the White House. His parents would likely be good that way too.
I would like to spend an evening with Ronald Reagan, just to recharge my batteries and regain some of his sunny disposition and outlook on life.
