January instructors class

Post by wgoforth »

I have been placed in the CHL instructors class for Jan 2-6. Anyone else on the forum going to be there? The Country Inns and Suites in Georgetown has a special rate for us, ask for the DPS rate. A block has been secured of these rooms and are $55 rather than their normal $99. I called all around and couldn't find any better

Great way to start off the new year! Can I ask how long you were on the waiting list for a class?

Thanks,

Sent my paperwork in in Sept. There was a class in Oct but my background check wasn't complete yet, so this is the first class since completion, so not a long wait!

For those with RVs or travel trailers, give San Gabriel River RV Park a try. Five minutes east of the classroom. Cheap, clean, quiet. Wifi, laundry, propane, affordable and right on the banks of the river. We stayed there when my wife went to her instructor class in April and found it to be very affordable and convenient. http://www.sangabrielrv.com
