Sounds like more of a custody battle/domestic situation than a home invasion. This one should be interesting.

Probably mom hires 2 armed kidnappers to get daughter, but one points gun at her head and dad protects her

Good placement hitting the BG in abdomen when I'm sure his heart was pumping fast and adrenaline rushing through his body, I'm kinda curious how far he was from the BG. The shot through the door is odd thoughRPB wrote:Texas dad shoots suspect holding daughter at gunpoint during attempted home invasion

Re: Texas dad shoots suspect holding daughter at gunpoint du
The door was a "warning shot" which generally I do not understand, but after being robbed a couple times, I don't second guess as much in "you had to be there" situations ... I mean if the dad was on the front porch and knew he had a brick wall and fired into his house to get the bad guy's attention with the BANG, rather than firing in the bad guy's direction originally ... (if he had no clear shot at first) rather than up in the air or something... couldda been a really bad outcome no matter what he did/didn't do with a gun at the daughter's head ... but he did something and it worked.Thomas wrote:Good placement hitting the BG in abdomen when I'm sure his heart was pumping fast and adrenaline rushing through his body, I'm kinda curious how far he was from the BG.
