The above link details some favorable firearm policies of the Texas Railroad
Commission and the General Land Office regarding the rights of visitors and employees
who are either CHL's or carrying weapons in their vehicles under MPA (Motorist Protection Act).

I hope this item is of use to someone out there who may visit such state sites.
