Oh! Man! That sounds fun. Can I run up and just go for the ride?

It's not like they're paying FedEx. They just put them on the next inter-store shipment.

Yes, please let us know if/when Sherman gets some of these in stock.

You got it. We're thinking next Saturday, but it also depends on what ScubaSigGuy finds out on Monday. May have to make a mid-week after-work run. Stay tuned.

To anyone interested:

The Beaumont GM, at closing Friday, had five Sistema's left and five more that their gunsmith had not released for sale yet.

That would at least mean they were doing a cursory safety check on them.

Believe me, they aren't pretty!

But I won't feel guilty on working on it. Always make a good project gun.

I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

There were some of the Argentina 1911s at the TSRA gun show. They looked pretty used and abused to me.

The Sistemas in the Amarillo Store look like they have been dragged ten miles down a dirt road on a log chain. Way over priced here.

I tried to take some pictures, but the digital is on the fritz.

I think I got one worth $250, but they were on the dreary side.

Mike1951, other than the finish being poor on these guns, how's the mechanics of them? Does everything appear to be functioning correctly?
