Hey guys/gals, I have a situation on my hands that hopefully y'all can shed some light on. A little over two months ago I completed my application online, took the class, got fingerprinted, and mailed everything in. Me and my roommate went through the whole process together, however he mailed his forms in (the ones on the checklist) about two weeks after me.
Here is the cool part, he gets his plastic license in the mail last week and here I sit with nothing. It gets better... I log on as a returning user to check my status, (for the first time) and it says nothing, no processing, no items received or anything like that. Nothing. It just says apply for your instructor certification and all the change your information stuff. My roommate logs on and his status is all there, everything received and permit shipped. WHAT GIVES?! Did they lose everything?? I paid the big fee and got my confirmation email after i submitted the application so I don't know what could've happened..
Has anyone heard of this??

Could it have been missed at your house? The envelope really looks like it's nothing special.

That's exactly what it looks like. Could long ago be 2,3, or 4 weeks?Pawpaw wrote:If the page you get looks like the image above, it means your license was issued and mailed long ago.

I guess I will call on Monday to see if it was ever mailed. I've been checking the mail pretty steadily for the past couple weeks and never saw anything that wasn't an electric bill or junk mail. I'll check with my apartment complex also.
Thanks guys!

I don't know how long after mine was mailed before it changed, but I don't believe it was more than 2 or 3 weeks. One day, just for grins, I signed in and it showed like the image above.lpcharger wrote:That's exactly what it looks like. In fact, I got that image by signing in and capturing it just before I answered your post.

Unless it's changed in the last year, it comes in a plain white envelope from:
Regulatory Licensing Service
Department of Public Safety
The license is attached to the center of a plain white card which fills the envelope. There's nothing else in the envelope.

Re: Missing Application?
The license was mailed but then returned because they forgot to put my apartment number on it.
They said I should have it in 7-10 days. Kinda makes me wonder, if I hadn't said anything, would they have re-mailed it..?
Anyways, problem resolved!
