This is pretty cool and scary accurate.

You click on the "Maps Labs" link and enable the distance measuring tool. Then click on the tool in the lower left hand corner of the map to start measuring.

Same tool told me I live 12.1531 mi from work as the crow (or artillery shell) flies.

I prefer drone strikes to artillery. Less noise to wake the neighbors. :mrgreen:

I've been using this tool for a while... and the zoom tool too.
Google has given us some great stuff.... Free... Unless you put a value on your privacy. :roll:
