WTS: S&W 642-1 Airweight J-frames, Houston - Closed

Post by CleverNickname »

I have three S&W 642-1 Airweights for sale. (Aluminum frame, stainless barrel & cylinder J-frame fully enclosed hammer, .38 Special). These do not have the integral lock.

Includes:
Crimson Trace LG-105 red laser grips
Factory rubber grips (not installed)

$475 (each) + $20 shipping to your FFL, USPS money orders only. I'll do a private transfer for cash if you're a Texas resident in the Houston area. The only trades I'd be interested in are for a 4" pre-lock S&W 686 or a 3" S&W 686 CS1, plus cash as needed. Not interested in any other trades.

I also have a Comptac CTAC holster ($70) and a Mika pocket holster ($25) that fit these, for sale separately to the buyer of the gun.

Fantastic pistols. My wife and I love ours. How did you wind up with three?

I tried to send you a PM, but I don't think it went through.

Are these guns and grips new or used? If new (or close to it), then I will take one of them. I am in the Houston area and can meet FTF.

I subscribe to the "two is one, one is none" school of thought, only I went one better. :) I'm changing to a small semiauto for pocket carry though, so I don't need these any more.

One gun I bought used so I don't know how many rounds it has through it (can't be too many though because the only way I can tell between them is by serial number). The other two I bought new, and those can't have had more than 500 rounds through them.
