Rice Security Police Officer David Sedmak Fired...

...in June for leaving campus to assist two city officers shot and search for a gunman at large...Campus Police Chief and a Major resigned in July...any updates???

No ... other than the job is no longer posted but I don't think anyone has yet been hired to fill it.

Why would they need campus security? Nothing bad can happen there. It's a gun free zone!

I wish I was a highly successful business owner in that area, poetic justice would be to hire that officer at a salary exceeding not only what he was being paid, but the dufas the fired him.

...another case of someone doing something politically incorrect for the right reason...you can be sure the officers who had been shot were glad to see him!!!

when seconds count ......................... eh, er, can't respond.... sorry! I bet if one of the Rice Administrators/Board of Regents needed help there would be noooo problem. I wish for only good things for this guy who did the right thing! :tiphat:
