Purse containing gun stolen from car in store parking lot

The guy was arrested, gun recovered.

(I wonder if it was a place posted 30.06 which forced car storage)

Story should be up later, (isn't on the website yet, I saw it just now on broadcast on TV) http://www.kxxv.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Regardless, it didn't force purse to be left in view in car....DUH.

Bad guys will wait in parking lots to watch for women leaving their cars without their purses. A woman I know who doesn't have a purse confronted the person while he was in her car :banghead:.

So just hiding purses doesn't necessarily help.

I knew an Officer's wife who got her gun-containing purse grabbed off her body while wearing the purse when she was leaving a grocery store back in the 1980s ...guy got away with it at that time, don't know if it was ever recovered.
