CHL When to Shoot
Anyone know where to find information on what circumstances justify using deadly force? Now I know that some of you would love nothing more in life than to immediately explain to me why you can't answer this simple question, so let me take the wind out of your sails. I know that every situation is unique. But what are the general rules? And did i say you were my lawyer? We're having a chat here so don't bother telling me why you're not authorized to speak on this subject.

... or use the search feature ... this is talked about - at great length - many times before on this forum ...
... this space intentionally left blank ...

Lots on information on this (5751). Try search and look through what has been posted, you'll find what you are looking for. Or as a lawyer would say "Asked and Answered!"

I'd imagine everyone here "knows where to find"... except trolls.rddaos wrote:Anyone know where to find information on what circumstances justify using deadly force? I don't see anyone who "can't" answer your simple question
By "general rules" ... I suppose you meant to ask what is the law? ...

With that sort of attitude, the OP can indeed go and look in the Penal Code for themselves...I've seen some occasional bad attitude on here, but that was between the regulars having a little disagreement on a finer point or two...not somebody right out the gate.

...someone who comes bargin' into the livin' room and sits in the best chair, then props their muddy boots up on the table and says "Where's my beer?" USUALLY gets to learn a lot of things the hard way...with the attendant knots and bruises...

Instead of me telling you why I am not authorized to speak on this subject, how about I tell you why I'm not going to dignify your question with an answer? When your very first post is snotty, my reaction is "do your own research."rddaos wrote:Anyone know where to find information on what circumstances justify using deadly force?
