I hate how they always say sports car whenever something like this happens. That's a sedan.

It's got spoilers and a large oversized exhaust. Driver apparently thought it was a souped up sports car, or tried to drive it like one anyway

Anyone else believe there was alcohol involved? I'll bet he waited until he sobered up to call . . .Police said Morales, 20, got out of the vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived.
Detectives said Morales called police hours later to report a stolen car.

Although I can't clearly see the car, it appears to be a Subaru WRX, which may have 4 doors,
but with AWD and high horsepower, "sports car" would seem to be a fair assessment. IMHO.
