More good news from the idiot in chief....

Washington Times
NUKE SCIENTIST EXCHANGE PLANNED
Deputy Energy Secretary Daniel B. Poneman is working on a major Obama administration initiative that would renew scientist exchanges between U.S. nuclear weapons laboratories and Chinese nuclear facilities.

The idea is aimed at promoting openness and transparency by China's military about its secret, large-scale buildup of nuclear weapons, according to U.S. officials.

Critics say the plan is similar to an exchange program in the 1990s that sent U.S. nuclear scientists to China and produced one of the worst cases of nuclear espionage. Secrets about every deployed warhead in the U.S. arsenal were compromised, including the W-88 small nuclear warhead deployed on submarine-launched missiles.

“We’ve seen this movie before, and it has a bad ending,” one official said.
Who are they kidding? Does the administration REALLY think that this is a good idea, given China's aggressive cyberwar efforts and their past documented espionage the last time a (democrat) president was dumb enough to let them near our nuclear secrets? Not to mention China's pursuit of our stealth technology from the downed SEAL Team 6 chopper in Pakistan and the downed surveillance drone in Iran. Nothing good can come from this. This president absolutely cannot be trusted with the keys to the nation's security any longer.

I beg all of you, hold your nose if you must, but please cast your vote for the republican nominee next November.

Newt Gingrich is Obama’s best (only?) chance at another term. I wonder of some Democrats will switch over and vote for him in the Republican primaries.

Now Now ... Hillary is reducing the deficit as fast as she can. She's sold more weapons to other Countries under the State Dept as Direct Sales than any other Sec of State. She's a good saleswoman. I do wish the "nuclear thing" sold to Mexico was better described, could be a detection device, could be a warhead... but nevertheless, she's selling stuff as fast as she can to raise revenue for her boss.

It wouldn’t be the first time. I have seen firsthand, a “spoiler” encouraged to run and supported by a party to split the opposing party’s vote. It was done so clandestinely the candidate actually believed he was being supported as a viable candidate. I know for a fact it happens in local and state elections. I suspect it is done in national elections.

Never underestimate how dirty politics can get.

Interesting premise.....democrats encouraging Ron Paul to run to split the republican vote.....

I think that Ron Paul's view of foreign affairs is naive and foolish. But, I'll give him this: I don't think he's dumb enough to deliberately let a Chinese spy back into America's nuclear weapons program. Given China's previous history in this area with the last democrat president, I'm going to come right out and say that Obama is a traitor. I think that his long game is to deliberately compromise the U.S. nuclear defenses. He believes that the U.S. needs to be taken down a notch or three, and the best way to do that is to ensure that it is no longer the only hyperpower in the world.

Here's the problem with that.......... When you're a hyperpower, it's the little guy terrorists that try to push you around. When you're merely one of half a dozen superpowers, you're back to living in a cold war environment of mutually assured destruction. In that environment, you've got three choices: 1) build up your military like Reagan did and spend the other guy into the ground; 2) be the one spent into the ground while the other guy builds up his military; or 3) throw in the towel and agree to becoming a satellite under the international direction of some other nation (think Russia/East Germany during the cold war).

Obama is one of two things, or possibly both: 1) he is a deliberately treasonous president dedicated to the eventual destruction of his own country; or 2) he is a complete imbecile who loves his lofty words but hasn't got the sense to pound sand down a rat hole.

Sir, my thinking EXACTLY; either complicit or incompetent, and either way, he doesn't belong in that office.

As disgusted as I am with the whole 'kit 'n kaboodle', I will most likely vote for the Republican nominee in 2012 just as I have voted for the Republican nominee ever since my first POTUS vote for Goldwater in 1964.

I wouldn't take that bet on Ron Paul.

As for our (choke cough) President (cough choke), I'm right there with you and vote wholeheartedly for number 1 with a dash of number 2.

It's not uncommon for liberals to believe that global government is the answer. I met one like that once and reached unhealthy blood pressures during the argument. Look for support for the Euro-states that have policies which fall in line with the lib agenda to go along with this as the communist in chief stops the EU from crumbling.
