In "Who didn't see that coming?" news, Gary Johnson will be switching to the Libertarian Party next week.

So, it's a pretty odd story about why he wasn't in some of the debates. Sure, he was polling low, but no worse than Huntsman. The difference is that the media AND the GOP seemed to be cooperating to keep him out of the debates. And, yes, he's still in the race. WIth his switch to the LP, I'm sure he's in to the end.
