My bank has a gaurd at the door and a metal detector, but they dont have a valid 30.06 just a ghostbusters .Now maybe I am wrong but I thought you couldnt carry at a bank but I could be wrong.it wouldnt be the first time I am wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your bank has a metal detector? Are you sure? Is it manned?

Banks are not off-limits to CHL's, unless they have a 30.06 sign or verbally tell you "no guns."

I always carry in my bank all they have is the ghost buster sign and a "no guns allowed sign" which neither applies to CHL. If they ever put up a 30.06 sign I will move my money to a more gun friendly bank.

I take mine in every time.

No 30.06, noone telling me I can't.

Even if we had a security guard posted at the door, I'd still carry, as I doubt that the guard would be as concerned for me and my family as I would like, if something went down.

Greetings--

I had two accounts in two different banks. The primary bank that I use doesnt have any no gun signage.

The other bank has a valid 30.06 sign. I kept the funds there only as long as necessary. When asked why I was withdrawing the funds and closing the fairly large account, I told them because of their anti-CHL policies. The person I spoke with replied that they had armed , off-duty LEO in the lobby at all times. I politely told her that's fine until I leave the lobby or your property *shrugs*. I also noted the LEO was sitting in an office off to the side, staring at a PC screen......

Oh-- yes-- I carry in my bank.....

Absolutely. My bank has put no restrictions on my ability to carry there, and if they did, they wouldn't be my bank anymore.

Yes sir I do in my bank. We have a good friendship w/ the VP at the branch where we do business. I would really hate it but if a 30-06 sign went up, I too would move. With me would go Mom's Acct also & that would be a much bigger dent than my little pile.
