The CU we use has a large sign (white letters on glass) at every entrance at every branch, that states, "The Credit Union prohibits the carrying of firearms on these premises except by peace officers who are required to do so by law."
Not a 30.06 posting, no, but we use the drive-through as much as possible & only go in when absolutely necessary.
Every branch also has an (unarmed) security guard patrolling the lobby.
Even so, they're still one of the more frequently robbed financial institutions in the county.
Someday, when I get everything paid off, I'll gladly look at moving our accounts. The only reason we started banking there, years ago, was because I used to work there (long before concealed carry was passed) and they helped us through some financial difficulties early on.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

I quit my bank (actually CU) when we discovered their signage. The big reason I joined them in the first place was because they had a branch on site at my work, then we started using the branch near my house and saw the sign, so I switched.
When they asked me why I was quitting, I told them it was their discriminatory policies.

Yes maam & when it happens in that particular CU, that unarmed security guard will shout at the robbers:
"If you dont stop pointing that gun at our good customers & highly trained employees I am going to holler louder for you to stop pointing that gun at good & loyal customers & highly trained employees while we all sheepishly continue to comply w/ your demands."

Thank you sir. The simplest truths of life elude us sometimes if we are not reminded daily w/ the simple statements.

Yep - I do at mine. no posting of any kind. I did have a CD only at another bank because they had a good rate. My wife and I went in and were doing the paperwork to open the CD when I looked up from the desk we were sitting at and in the back of the lobby on what looked like an employee bulletin board was a compliant 30.06. It was the farthest (sp) point from the front door and was actually on a side wall on the bulletin board. Don't have the CD there anymore.
