Um I was being extremely facetious. Why do I like the man? Because he speaks with the truth and he is not afraid to say it. Romney, Paul are just being puppets for whichever crowd they are facing. Obama has coddled to the anti-war crowd for votes. Obama is a military disaster and the deaths of the American soldiers will be for nothing. Perry is spot on with Iran moving in. Now in the name of religion and sects thousands of innocent Iraqis are going to die. In ten years if we don't do anything your gasoline prices will be out of orbit. I can support leaving the region but only if we open the drilling in this continent and go full bore and tell the environmental extremists to pound sand.

I think it's a sad America that discounts a job creation/economy record and tosses someone out for forgetting one item one time without the benefit of a teleprompter .... but, then again, so many lack critical thinking skills and want to ban everything and make more laws which "protect" us.

Romney last night paraphrased anything someone else said that got applause, made it as general and vague as a horoscope "Yes, we need to do "'something' about this and that ...

and really answered nothing and committed to nothing .... so people think he did great ...

Reminds me of when Obama speaks ... There's a nap for that and I always download it yawn

I most definitely agree that we must work on being self sufficient energy wise and I agree with your assessment of the current POTUS.

As for the muslims, the sooner they kill each other off, the better. It is painfully clear that there is nothing under the sun that we can do to alter their culture. They hate us infidels and killing each other is what they do when they can't kill us. Our mission should be to stand back and keep 'em in bullets.

For sure, for sure. The Paul mentality of we shouldn't be over there because they don't want us to be there is confusing to me and I will never understand it. We as Americans break our backs to allow anyone and everyone, legal or illegal to come to this country even if they have subversive motives, but Americans should not be allowed to spread democracy and free enterprise and Christianity around the world. What is wrong with this picture?

This thread is quickly trying to stray into Rule 11.

Back on-topic... glad to see that Perry has solidly locked himself up to continue being our Governor "rlol" :txflag:

I think that, realistically, right or wrong, he lost his shot at winning when he couldn't remember the name of the third federal agency that he wanted to shut down.
Seriously. Pick one at random. You have better than a 90% chance of picking one that should be defunded and disbanded.

If he wants my vote in 2014, he needs to come out early and come out strong in 2013 with support for campus carry or a complete repeal of 46.035. I already committed to voting for incumbents in 2012 only if they voted for campus carry.
