Praise request

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Praise request

Post by DocV »

Please thank the Lord for his wonder gift of my mother, Bonnie : June 4 1925 - January 5, 2012

(Apologies if this posts twice. I thought I had posted this but don't see anything. My eyes are a bit misty and I may have pressed the wrong button earlier.)

Thank you longtooth.
Mom went to be home with the Lord yesterday. We fly out for her funeral tomorrow.
She was a wonderful mother which is the one of best gifts that I can think of.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers sent for your family.

Thanks everyone. Mom was a parson's daughter, a parson's daughter-in-law, a parson's grand-daughter-in-law, a parson's wife and a parson's mom. Then I came along and messed up the pattern. But even I know where to find her.

Oh man, that is so hard. You have my sincerest condolences and prayers. My own mother is about the same age, but she doesn't know Jesus, and that is hard for me and mine to endure. You are blessed that your mother does know Him, face to face now. That is quite a legacy she left you.

Thanks. The funeral and visitation went very well. It was good to catch up with folks that I had not seen in decades. My brother's daughter had an emergency C-section yesterday just before the visitation started. She had a daughter. The funeral was this morning then the wife and I drove to the St Louis airport and caught a flight back to Love Field.
