...Thought I 'd seen something about this here but searched boats, patrol boats, and DPS boats and Rio Grande...can't find it...

That's good.

Although the one pictured in this article is not as "Military" cool looking as the one posted before.

I think Myfoxaustin may have gotten this image wrong (insert group gasp here). The boat pictured here is a search/rescue/dive boat (note the dive tanks in the front, the multiple tanks in back and the diving symbol on the blue Texas decal).

Someone told me yesterday that they had one of these at the Boat Show here in Houston this week. Alas, no hardware was mounted though...

It did occur to me that they should be running these things on the darned river and not on the Boat Show circuit.
