My Wait Is Over!

Post by DLBConductor »

My CHL arrived in the mail yesterday. Only 30 days from receipt of my materials to the day my license arrived.
:hurry:
11/10/2011 - Purchased Springfield Armory XD 9mm Sub-Compact
11/12/2011 - Joined a local rifle and pistol club and the NRA.
11/12/2011 - Shooting lessons with a Professional Instructor
12/10/2011 - CHL Class completed (Written: 100 and Range: 247)
12/14/2011 - L1 Fingerprinting Completed
12/14/2011 - CHL Application Mailed Registered Mail
12/15/2011 - CHL Received in Austin
01/14/2012 - Plastic in Hand
:thewave

I posted a description in the General CHL forum of my event-filled first day with a CHL. I got a license, had a traffic stop, spent a great afternoon at the range, and finished by being assessed by a BG at a filling station. Having the CHL gives me a feeling of having much greater control of my life.

Are you SURE about that range score? That's only 58% so wouldn't pass.

Looks like he made a type. Used a 1 instead of 2.

Congrats and I have to say that was a very fast turn around considering the holidays peppered throughout that timeline.

Mea Culpa: bad typing. The score was 247.

Thanks for catching the error.
