he was contacted spiritually to pick up a package

That's weird. I bet he's got a Secret Service file now.

Well that's dumb! :nono:

They should be keeping a file on whoever sent the spiritual message!!! "rlol"

If the FBI or SS does not have a file on you by now, you have not been living.
I have a cousin that was off of his medications went to White House believing he was an Indian Chief and jumped the fence wanting to talk a peace treaty with the President back in the early 70s. Secret Service flew him home for free and had his parents meet him at the airport where they had to show idenity before the young lady would unlock the handcuffs. This was a little wacked as his side of the family has no Indian blood at all and I'm 1/4 cherokee on my mother's side so if anyone gets to be an Indian chief it should be me. :anamatedbanana

I have 3 younger brothers. We all have the same Mother and Father.

One of my brothers is American Indian.

I am not sure how that happened.

Mule jumped the fence? My lineage is Irish back to 1792 when the first ancestor appeared in America - but somehow I end up with a DNA trace that stops in the eastern Mediterranean with a 67 Y marker match at 98% from Greece or Turkey. Mule jumped the fence on me too!!

Stay with me on this just a bit. It's been a little while since I've done DNA or genetic studies. You and your brothers get their, hopefully, only X-chromosome from your mom. However, your mom has two to choose from, one from her mom and one from her dad. So, the brother that has American Indian DNA (Are we that good to determine this?) could have gotten a different X-chromosome than the one you and your other brothers received. Now the question becomes, which Grandparent gave your mom her Indian X-chromosome and can you trace that line of the family?

It could be more complicated than that if the marker looked for was on a chromosome other than either of the sex chromosomes.

The family legend on my Mom's mothers side is that when the US Bureau of Indian Affairs started involuntarily taking Cherokee children and sending them to schools to acculturate as "white folks", our esteemed Cherokee Mom somewhere along the family-tree did everything possible to hide every trace of Indian heritage and ended up with her whole side of the family NOT being on the Tribal-rolls. I am still not sure of the logic involved here.

I apologize for getting off topic.

You're probably just as much Indian as your brother.

I don't see in the article that he had a CHL----but instead that he had a "permit for the gun"---And since WE all know that guns aren't permit-ted in Texas(as opposed to permitted!)---shows that the person reporting this doesn't know

Said he had the gun in his car, which is totally legal, but also said he had a CHL.

Houston Chronicle today "While agents and Dallas police questioned him, the man revealed that he had a gun in his nearby vehicle. Donovan said the man had a permit for the gun and his answers checked out, so he was released and left."

"permit for the gun"

Is it really so hard to get the story straight.

To stay off topic...

I have the same story in my background.
It used to be that an Indian wouldn't admit to being an Indian.

When my grandmother enrolled the family, she put down the amount of indian blood as the smallest amount she could and still receive benefits from the tribe (health care).

My enrollment card says 1/256 Cherokee. Who knows what it really is.
