Never been anything less that pleased. I've have slightly less stellar transaction on other gun forums, but as a rule, anyone who spends a lot of time on a mainstream forum like this will be a standup person.
It is said you can judge a person by the company he keeps. That's a pretty good reference for this forum.
:iagree: Well said Rex B!

Usually the thread is locked after a sale, but maybe the Mods could allow some feedback to be added after the transaction is complete.
Or maybe a feedback page on the member profile, kind of like how eBay has.

I see your point, but the Market section of the forum is for members who occasionally sell an item. The forum rules clearly state that the forum in not a commercial website.

Perhaps there could be a sticky thread somewhere on the forum called "Good guys/gals report" or "Kudos" or something like that for people to highlight any kind of good feedback that doesn't really fit anywhere else. It could be for a sale, a class, a special effort... whatever. ...A positive re-enforcement thread.

Just a thought....

I have made a couple sells on the forum and both went well. It did cross my mind both times to be careful about where we meet. Public places with many people is usually best.

I did one in a school parking lot.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

I am also a member on some softball forums where there is a lot of buying, selling, and trading, especially of bats. The way they do it is they have a forum specifically for feedback. After a deal, you simply post a thread in that forum and state in the title what type of feedback you are leaving. When you want to see someone's feedback, you just search that forum for the person's name and all their feedback threads come up and you can see from simply looking at the title if it is positive or not. You can also read the thread if you want details.

That's a new one "rlol"

I've dealt with a few people on here and it's worked out well. I tend to meet in mall parking lots or other large areas, in the daylight, where there are people around but far enough away they don't freak out of they see a gun stock going into a car.

No complaints here :thumbs2:
