So, A Guy Walks Into A Bar With A Chainsaw....
Are you kidding me? What the heck?
Even though it looks like he got what he deserved in the end it could have ended a lot sooner if someone had been carrying....but then again this was in England so I guess tossing a keg at someone is the next best thing.

Wow, allowing people to throw kegs at guys wielding chainsaws really creates an unsafe working environment for criminals. Surely the UK won't tolerate this kind of anarchy and will fully prosecute all those who tried to inflict harm on this poor troubled soul with the chainsaw.

they are lucky a law abiding citizen didn't also have a CONCEALED chainsaw for defense that no one KNEW ABOUT ... they'd have kegs EVERYWHERE being thrown at the wrong person .... by everyone totin' a keg wait ... no, they wouldn't know about the other one ... nevermindVMI77 wrote:Wow, allowing people to throw kegs at guys wielding chainsaws really creates an unsafe working environment for criminals. Instead of throwing kegs, I think Colin Goddard advises laying down and finding a cell phone.... it's more noble or something.

This is GREAT!!!! FOR YEARS, I've been trying to justify to my wife, why I keep a keg on the nightstand! Now I have my proof!

From what I have read, you may not be far off of the mark. The one that stands out in my mind is about a man who was severely beaten not so many years back, perhaps 3 or so, by several "anti-social youths", as they say. They beat him so badly that he is permanently disfigured AND has a serious speech problem. BUT, the magistrate (dude in the wig) said that since the man who was beaten attempted to defend himself, that it was just a minor altercation (or words to that effect) and nothing was done to the multiple individuals who JUMPED him and beat him. While I'm certain that I have left quite a few details out on this story, I'm also certain I've remembered the gist of it correct. The beaten man's mother has to help him with his daily life now and was rightfully horrified that the judge ruled the way he did. THIS is just one result of socialism, folks. My thoughts on Colin Goddard generally involve several words that Mr. Cotton has deemed improper for this fine forum.RPB wrote:they are lucky a law abiding citizen didn't also have a CONCEALED chainsaw for defense that no one KNEW ABOUT ... they'd have kegs EVERYWHERE being thrown at the wrong person .... by everyone totin' a keg wait ... no, they wouldn't know about the other one ... nevermindVMI77 wrote:Wow, allowing people to throw kegs at guys wielding chainsaws really creates an unsafe working environment for criminals. Surely you must understand: those poor youths were disadvantaged and this man you speak of was no doubt a productive member of society, so he was one of their oppressors, giving them every right to do what they felt necessary to secure the comfortable life the UK government says they are entitled to. By defending himself this man was furthering his exploitation of these poor youths by denying them property that he acquired as their oppressors. Haven't you heard of social justice?
