Got my plastic today, and while the wait was long and hard enough this seems pretty darn speedy for a government operation. I've waited longer in line at the DMV.

Class - Jan 14th
Application hand delivered by instructor to DPS (I live in Austin) - Jan 17th
Manufacturing - Feb 14th (my license was printed with love)
Mailed Feb 16th or 17th (2 postmarks on envelope)
Plastic in hand Feb 18th!
I guess this means I'll have to do my Wal-Mart Walk tomorrow.
