I would go along with Bob Hope because he did a lot for the troops.

Jimmy Stewart served in the military.

I like John Wayne and he did a good job in The Longest Day, The Green Beret and others but think it would be a little iffy.

I thought that I liked the cut of Christie's jib but now I'm not so sure. Surely, he didn't mis-order the lowering of the U.S. flag to curry votes among certain circles heretofore largely democratic.

...appreciate that...got 'em both in favorites now...and a passcode on my 'pooter so my son can't "help" me again...

Inasmuch as it's NJ, my wife wants to know if the flag was lowered when Sinatra died? Anyone know?

Did you know John Wayne was classified 4F and exempt from service in WWII. Does anyone know the reason for his classification? No googling now. :nono: tic toc tic toc tic toc
